Kids say the silliest things, or do they?

I love that kids are given the ability to say whatever comes into their mind without feeling the embaressment we adults feel. I know it is a trained thing and I will have to train my kids the same, but for now it is fun to laugh at them...
My two older kids take a bath together and we sing songs and talk about the various body parts while we are washing up (such as head and knees and toes). Well, Chloe (22months old) points to Connor's belly (my 3 year old) and says "belly". We say yes it is and she is so proud. Well, then she points to a part lower on his body and says "belly?". Connor says "oh no, that is pee-man!". I just about fell over laughing and he just shrugged his shoulders and went about playing.
I have been feeling the need to lose weight after having 3 kids (easier said then done) so one morning while my older two were eating breakfast and watching Mickey Mouse I decided to jog in place. Thinking if I can last a 20 min show that is a pretty good workout. Connor looks up at me after a minute and says "Mommy, do you have to go pee?". Well, again I laughed so hard I did have to go.
I overheard my two older kids having a conversation in which Connor told Chloe. "No, you do not take toys away from me or you will get in trouble and I will take away your toy, do you understand me?" Apparently that is how I must sound.

Precious sleep

I cannot believe it. There are times when God must smile and say "you need a break". Today was one of those days. I somehow managed to put all 3 kids down for a nap and they all slept for 2 hours. And it was at the same time! I then layed down and slept for almost the whole time. There was only one little glitch. My baby's swing takes "D" batteries and they ran out of power. I only survive nap time by swaddling her and putting her in the swing. The glitch was I only have 3 new ones and none of my toys for the kids take that size. So I became creative and used the 3 new ones and 1 of the old ones. I would get about 20 minutes of power before I had to replace it with another old one. Once the swing stopped for to long she would wake up, I would wake up and replace it and then we would go back to sleep. It would seem like the difficult approach, but I don't know if trying to drag 3 kids through walmart would have been easier. So, we are now up and as soon as my husband wakes up, he will be going to Walmart for new batteries. :)

Introduction

I realized the other day that I am tired. My husband claimed I was not listening when he talks and I looked at him and said "I am sorry". What I didn't say was I am so overtired that I can't even think! Let me explain why...
Connor is my 3 year old challenge. He loves life and does not understand why anyone would want to stop moving in order to fall asleep. From the moment he opens his eyes he is moving. He absolutley loves sports, especially football and his beloved "star team" (cowboys). He always makes sure that someone is following him around to play. With him around I am always on my feet. (you would think I would be skinnier)
Chloe is 22 months old and is perfecting her drama queen status. She can bring on full tears at a moments notice (especially if it means getting her brother in trouble) and routinely hangs her head to pout if she does not get her way. She loves clothes and fights me daily on what she is going to wear. Despite what her brother thinks she really is in charge.
Kylie is 6 weeks old and is a doll. So far she is great with only one crazy thing. She screams hysterical every time she is in her car seat or in the car. Other than that we are hitting the magic 6 week mark where she is smiling, cooing, and having her own quiet alert time. Her smiles make my day and help when the other two drive me crazy.
I know here soon that they will be growing up and changing and I will long for these days, but at the moment it doesn't feel like that! I love my kids and can't wait to see what their futures hold.
